The Tibet Buddhist Center in Brooklyn is a non-profit organization poised to open its doors in 2023 with the generous support of the Dugan. United by a shared vision, this collaboration aims to promote the practice and teachings of Buddha, offering spiritual support to Buddhists.
Our Mission
Spiritual Services
The center will offer a place for Buddhists to come together for prayer services and to receive spiritual guidance and blessings from lamas, fostering a sense of community and deepening their spiritual practice.
Oriental Medicine Services
In addition to spiritual support, the center will provide Oriental medicine services, including traditional healing practices such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic wellness approaches.
Museum of the History of Buddhism
The center is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history and heritage of Tibet Buddhism through the creation of a Museum. This space will be an educational hub, inviting visitors to delve into the traditions, art, and culture woven into the tapestry of Tibet Buddhism.
Community Support
Beyond religious and spiritual realms, we strive to be active in supporting the community, providing everithing from housing assistance to psychological support, employment guidance to legal services. We aim to be a resource hub that uplifts and empowers individuals in their life journey.
Educational and Recreational Programs
Educational and recreational programs will be the heartbeat of our center. We foresee a vibrant space where individuals of all ages can engage in activities that promote personal growth, skill development, and community bonding.
